A truly autonomous machine: real challenges…
Taken individually, some of these features may appear secondary and only intended for operator comfort.
However, it is their combination that allows our CNC routers to work safely for several hours without an operator present.
To maintain an effective link between operator and machine, our VERSO CAM software includes SMS notifications. The machine alerts the operator directly on their phone in various situations:
- Job completed
- Tool breakage during machining
- Safety perimeter breach*
- Emergency stop activated
- Insufficient compressed air
etc...
Operator time and costs are therefore significantly reduced compared to machines lacking these functions.
